Red Shirt Friday is a powerful tradition in the fire service that honors fellow first responders—especially those injured, missing, or killed in the line of duty. On Fridays, firefighters, family members, and supporters wear red shirts to show solidarity, raise awareness, and remind communities that we stand together through danger and loss. It’s a visible pledge of support: we remember sacrifices, lift up those who carry the burden, and reinforce the bonds that make our service strong. Family, duty, and unity—Red Shirt Friday keeps those values front and center.
